Save the Date Wedding Stationery Specialist Terms & Conditions

Save the Date – Wedding Stationery Specialists reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website. By continuing to use this website ( you accept to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.

By placing an order with Save the Date – Wedding Stationery Specialists, you are accepting the following Terms and Conditions. Our Privacy Policy is also available to view.

• On receipt of your order, a 50% non-refundable deposit will be required. The deposit secures the price of items confirmed at the time of ordering.

• You have the right to cancel the order at any stage; however the deposit is non-refundable.

• In the event of an order being cancelled, all work completed that exceeds the deposit must be paid for.

• Your order will only be despatched when the final balance has been received and cleared.

• We reserve the right to change the prices without prior notice. Any price increase will not affect orders that have been confirmed.

• The quotations are valid for 30 days only.

• Discounts are applied to ceremony booklets or any other stationery items (e.g. menus, table plan, place name cards etc.), only if the invitations are purchased from us.

• For orders under 50 day invitations, Save the Date will charge €2 extra per card. This applies only to our laser cut and catalogue collections. We do not charge extra for orders under 50 bespoke/custom made invitations.

• Regretfully, we cannot accept orders for less than 30 day invitations.

• Please note that the clients may also collect their orders from ‘Save the Date Wedding Stationery Specialists” free of charge. Please contact us for details.

• Please note that an order usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks for completion. However, we can accommodate a limited number of rush orders each month. If you require a guaranteed delivery of your invitations in two weeks or less, there is a 50% rush fee charge. 

• As most of our stationery items and bows are handmade, the client accepts there will be slight variations between items. As the stationery is made to order, minor variations in colour, texture, size and positioning can occur and do not constitute a fault.

• Save the Date deliveries will always be sent by Registered Post or courier and will require a signature. International delivery is also available - please contact us for an accurate estimation of the costs.

• Save the Date will not be held responsible for delivery delays beyond our control, loss or damaged goods once they have been dispatched.

• Upon acceptance of the final proof of the Project and the Designer delivering the final work product to the Client, post office or shipping company, the Designer shall bear no responsibility or have any liability for damage done to the work product.

• A discreet promotional logo will be printed on the back of some of the stationery items.

• The customer shall upon delivery examine the goods and shall promptly inform Save the Date of any apparent damage, defect or shortage. In the unlikely event an error/fault is discovered, the goods in question must be sent back to Save the Date at the customer’s expense. Save the Date must receive the original incorrect/faulty goods before the amendments are made. Postage will be reimbursed if the error is that of ‘Save the Date’. Save the Date will not accept the responsibility for items damaged in transit.

• Save the Date will print the invitations as per approved proofs. It is the customer’s responsibility to check the digital proofs of the invitations, response cards, mass/ceremony booklets or any other stationery items thoroughly and return these by e-mail with any amendments required. Once proofs have been confirmed and approved, Save the Date accepts no responsibility for any mistakes made by the customer.

• In the unlikely event of an invitation style being out of stock, we will promptly inform you.

• Save the reserve the right to refuse service if we believe it breaches copyright or we deem to be offensive or in breach of any law.

• All content on this web site, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons and images is the property of Save the or its suppliers and protected by international copyright laws.

Terms and Conditions for Bespoke Designs: Normal terms & conditions apply, along with the following:

• A 50% non-refundable deposit or a small fee (based on an individual quote) has to be paid before any bespoke work begins. This bespoke fee covers the research, consultation and design time, samples etc.. The remaining 50% will be paid closer to the date when your invitations will be ready for delivery / collection.

• In the event that the order is cancelled at the request of the Client or the execution is suspended prematurely, the Client is entitled to a partial refund, depending on the time the designer spent on creating your bespoke design / suite of invitations and / or wedding stationery.

• By contracting or requesting Save the to carry out any design work for you, the Client, you agree to above Terms and Conditions for Bespoke Designs / Orders and to our general Terms and Conditions.
